Certified artists and institutions may create digital certificates for artworks. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and authority to create certificates for the artworks you submit. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the information provided.
ArtCert provides a verification service to confirm the authenticity of artwork certificates. We cannot guarantee the authenticity of artworks themselves, only the integrity of the certificate records.
Certificate holders may transfer ownership of artwork certificates through our Services. Such transfers are recorded and cannot be undone.
All content on our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ArtCert or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our Services without our prior written consent.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. We may retain your information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ARTCERT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where ArtCert is located, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
ArtCert offers membership plans with varying levels of access to certificate creation and verification services. Paid membership plans include additional benefits such as increased certificate quotas, priority review, and dedicated support. By subscribing to a membership plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees and maintain accurate payment information.
Members may request physical certificates for digital artworks they own. Physical certificates are printed and shipped at an additional cost. You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and for any customs or import duties that may apply.
ArtCert provides a publicly accessible certificate verification service. Users may verify the authenticity of any certificate using its unique certificate ID. Verification results include ownership history and certificate details.
